Specialist Courses

We also train the trainers!

Due to our depth of experience we also work training other instructors both here and abroad (we spent a month in Whistler, Canada, this year running some courses for the CTC) and so you can be assured that you're getting the very best and latest MTB coaching from two of the UK's most highly experienced MTB skills instructors.

The Continual Professional Development Course is aimed at any level of rider who is looking at doing a Go Mountain Bike instructor, Skills Instructor or a higher level qualification than they currently hold and who would like to ‘up-skill’ their own riding skills and knowledge.

Consisting of a one day training course delivered by highly experienced Skills Tutors this course provides a thorough understanding and development of all the key technical skills required for any MTB skill instructional award and more advanced riding.

Campbell Coaching as well as being tutors for instructors wishing to deliver Go MTB to schools, clubs and other youth groups via the CTC are also the most experienced accredited Go MTB providers in North Wales.
So What’s it all about?

Young people love being on bikes, its your first real independent journeys and adventures with your ‘mates’ The Go MTB program provides a framework for this and is a totally NEW mountain bike proficiency program aimed at young riders from around 10 years old upwards. It was designed by Cycling Scotland alongside other key partners including the SMBLA, Sustrans and the CTC.

Campbell Coaching can make a difference to your organisation.

We all know that great teams can achieve amazing results no matter the goal. However, they do need nurturing and development. Helping your team develop as individuals and work together toward a common goal is essential, no matter the business, and it needn't cost the earth!

The National Standards give young adults and adults the skills to make confident journeys on all roads where you can cycle and in different traffic conditions no matter if its to commute to work, go shopping or just get about town and help save the environment!

If you're a company and your staff ride bikes its great to give them more confidence to ride in an urban environment and you can drastically reduce the numbers of injuries and days off work by providing some basic training for your workers.

This course provides a qualification to current Forestry Commission/ Natural Resources Wales standards for the inspection of cycle / MTB trails.
